The Plot

WW2 is on. Negros in the US are considered incapable for complex tasks such as participating in air combat. Tuskegee houses an experimental project with a fully black unit - black pilots and black crew. However, they are flying rundown planes on insignificant sorties.   

A political gaffe by a racist white general, however, lands them with an opportunity. Will the Red Tails of Tuskegee be able to prove their mettle and go down as greats in history? Will they succeed in the mission?
