Bridge of Spies >> 30s Review


James Donovan is the defense lawyer for Rudolf Abel, who has been arrested on charges of espionage against the US. Everyone hates him for taking up the job to protect the country's enemy. Things get complicated when an American fighter pilot Francis Powers is captured while on a mission over Soviet skies. Donovan is expected to lead the negotiation and get Francis back in lieu of Rudolf.

Will he succeed?
