Lightning McQueen is a modern race car - hot and in demand. While traveling to California for The Final Race, due to some mischief creators he ends up in Radiator Springs. And, while trying to run away from the Police, it accidentally damages the road.

It is sentenced to fix the road. It starts the job unhappily. But, in the process it befriends the cars in the town - and, makes new relationships - which change it, and its value system!

But will Lightning be able to reach the race in time? And, win it?
