Ellie is pregnant, and Manny is all excited about it - he's even created a nursery for the baby. Diego is becoming uncomfortable living a domesticated life, and decides to leave. All this leaves Sid lonely. So lonely that when he comes across three huge eggs, he decides to adopt them - unaware that they were not abandoned.

What follows is total chaos - as mama Dinosaur takes Sid along with her babies. Ellie, Manny and Diego follow her in the cave to save Sid. But what they discover inside leaves them astounded!
