Alcatraz, the Rock, once a high security prison, is now a tourist destination. Marine General Hummel has gone rogue alongwith a talented group of colleagues - they have taken over the island and 81 hostages. Unless their demand is met, they're threatening to fire missiles with a fatal nerve gas that would destroy four major cities in the US - San Francisco is right next to them.

Stanley Goodspeed, a FBI biochemist is the only one who can disarm the chemical bombs. To get him to the bombs FBI sends a unit, along with John Mason - the only living person to have escaped Alcatraz. But they are ambushed - now only Mason and Stanley remain.

Will they be able to work together to save all the people?

Rating: Green - one of the best action-thriller movies, definitely! Great acting, and pacy screenplay keep you at the edge of your seat.
