The Mauritanian: Can innocence guarantee freedom?
It All Started With A Photograph
Rafi is a struggling street photographer in Mumbai. He clicks photos of tourists visiting the Gateway of India to earn a living.
Miloni is a shy girl, a student currently preparing for her exams. While vising the Gateway she gets a picture clicked, but in a hurry she's unable to take the printed picture.
When Rafi's grandmother goes on a hunger strike insisting that he gets married, he sends her Miloni's photo and lies that he's getting married to her.
But things take an unexpected turn when the grandmother insists on coming to Mumbai and meeting her.
Will Rafi be able to find Miloni in the megapolis Mumbai? Will she agree to meet his grandmother as his girlfriend?
Rating: Green - just amazing! Takes you to a different world. And, a rare Nawazuddin Siddiqui film that I liked! But, again because of the great acting by Sanya Malhotra, and the Dadi!
