After letting Dom go in the previous movie, Brian lost his job, and is now on the run. He now has a chance to redeem himself and clear his name by assisting the US Customs Dept. in nabbing a drug smuggler.

He ropes in the help of his childhood friend Roman Pearce. Under house arrest for a crime conducted few years ago, Roman is more than happy to participate.

They work with the undercover agent Monica Fuentes, to win the trust of drug smuggler Carter Verone.

Will they succeed in winning their freedom?
