A Knight's Tale >> Review and Trailer


William Thatcher(HL) is a peasant's son. He works as a squire for a Knight. The knight dies while waiting for a joust. William steps into his Armour, comes out of the joust alive, wins 15 silver coins and his life changes. He decides to pursue his dream of becoming a knight. And so he becomes Sir Ulrich von Lichtenstein of Gelderland. Supported by his two fellow squires Wat Falhurst(AT) and Roland(MA), a writer Geoffrey Chaucer(PB) and a female farrier, Kate(LF) he wins joust after joust, tournament after tournament.

He falls in love with Lady Jocelyn(SS), a beautiful girl being pursued by many. Just then Count Adhemar of Anjou(RS) finds out about his origins and gets him arrested.

What will become of him?
