Victor Navorsky (TH), a resident of Karkozhia (an east-European country) arrives in US - the JFK airport. Just as he was on his way, there is a civil war and the government is overthrown. His country ceases to exist. As a result his passport and visa become invalid. The only option he has is to spend his time in the Terminal of the airport till the war gets over.
During the stay he makes several friends at the airport because of his friendly and helpful nature. And everyone at the airport starts liking him, except the field commissioner for whom he is a liability. Victor is in the US to fulfill a promise that he made to his father.
Will he be able to fulfill the promise?
Rating: Green - Steven Spielberg gives this story just the treatment that it deserved coming up with a beautiful movie in the end.
