Gabe left climbing after his friend Hal's girl-friend was killed, he holds himself responsible. He's visiting the Rocky Mountain security camp to meet Jessie, his ex-girl friend, when they get a rescue call from 5 stranded hikers. Jessie manages to coax him to help Hal.

Unknown to them, the 5 are criminals, whose mid-air heist has gone wrong. They are looking for 3 bags full of big money which have fallen in the mountains. They need a guide to help them through the hostile terrain.
