Bud Fox is a young stockbroker under pressure to perform, and he's willing to do anything to get to the top. His persistence lands him a meeting with the God of Wall Street - Gordon Gecko, and the inside information he possesses on a major company helps him cut a deal.

This starts a journey of greed, as he gets more and more deeply entrenched in financial fraud. But, when Gordon betrays him, and moves to liquidate Bluestar Airlines which is his dad's company - Bud realizes his mistakes.
