In the pre-civil war period in the United States, Solomon Northup is a talented violinist living with his wife and children. One fine day he is called for a performance, where he is drugged, and then sold-off as a slave to someone in the southern US.
There he sees and lives a life full of horrors, the life of a slave. Will he be able to survive, and earn his freedom? Will he be able to return to his family?
Rating: Green - an amazing story, with great acting! Must watch!
