Louis Bloom is desperate for a job to make ends meet. But he gets repeatedly turned down. By a stroke of fate, he comes across a 'nightcrawler' covering a late night accident. When he is turned down by him for a job, he decides he will start his own business.

And, he does. And, he crosses all the lines - professional, legal, moral, human, and any other possible. Will he get caught or will he come out of it successful?
