The Mauritanian: Can innocence guarantee freedom?
Scarface: He loved the American Dream. With a vengeance.
Tony Montana has just managed to enter the United States from Cuba through an illegal route, and is currently in a refugee camp. He is offered an opportunity to get a green card in lieu of murdering a high ranking Cuban official formerly close to Fidel Castro.
Well, he does it, and so begins his version of the American Dream. He grows fast, accumulates unimaginable power and wealth, only to realize that he is all alone - no love, no friend, no family.
Rating: Green - a gem of a gangster movie said to be inspired by a real life story. With its uninhibited dialogue, and bloodbath, and class acting by Al Pacino and others, this is a movie you don't want to miss, if you are comfortable watching gory films.
