Gangs of New York: America was born in the streets!
The Five Points area of New York is ruled by gangs. Gangs belonging to different origins - the natives led by Bill 'The Butcher' Cutting, and the immigrant foreigners led by 'Priest' Vallon.
In a 'battle' to decide the 'ruler' of Five Points, The Butcher kills the Priest. Amsterdam Vallon, the priest's son manages to escape.
Fast forward slightly more than a decade - the Butcher is now the unchallenged ruler of the place. And, Amsterdam is back, to avenge his father's death.
Rating: Green - great story, great acting, superb screenplay! Forget the world, and get lost in the streets of mid-nineteenth century New York!
