The Mauritanian: Can innocence guarantee freedom?
Kundun: The Amazing Story of the Fourteenth Dalai Lama
The religious authorities have found their fourteenth Dalai Lama. He begins his education and grows in the monastery.
But, not all is well. The political situation is getting complicated - the Chinese are bullying the Tibetans to surrender to their domination.
Soon the Dalai Lama will become old enough to take up his responsibility as the leader of his people. What will he do to save them?
Rating: Yellow - a decent story, but long. It gets boring and feels pointless - maybe if you are not aware of the events that happened, you might enjoy it.
PS: Also, if we draw a comparison with 'Seven Years in Tibet' - one of the movies has got factual errors for sure.
