Elizabeth King (PH) the wife of a land baron, Matt King (GC) meets with an accident and is in coma. As Matt is unable to take care of his younger daughter Scottie (AM) alone he gets the elder daughter Alexandra (SW) back from school.
Together they also have to break the news that Elizabeth has to be taken off life support as per her will to the family and close friends. 

While this is going on Matt learns from Alexandra that Elizabeth was having an affair. Search begins for the man as Matt wants the guy Elizabeth loved to say goodbye to her.
