The Mauritanian: Can innocence guarantee freedom?
Ali: Forget What You Think You Know
In the racist United States of the mid- twentieth century, a young black man has burst on the boxing scene, and is destroying the biggest, and baddest of them - one by one.
Meanwhile, outside the ring - he is making bold statements, getting arrested, changing his religion, womanizing, and a lot much more.
Rating: Yellow - a decent time pass. The movie is loose, barely hanging together. The screenplay is poor. Superb acting and an inspirational story are what managed to get this a yellow.
PS: As is usual with real-life based movies, specially period movies, this movie may also have errors in places, some unintentional, and some intentional as the makers might have taken creative freedom.
